Read any good books lately?
My friends and I have!
We had a fun little (girls only - book club) dinner soiree, pre-Valentines Day --
where my peeps and I discussed this book.
It's a quick read, and a great 'whodunnit' murder mystery, with a zinger of an ending!
Our dinner tablescape reflected some of the topics in the book:
You know, in a legal thriller, there's always 'the suspect's fingerprint' -- so we had fun with our placecards:
The 'murder weapon' was a knife -- and the 'location of the murder' was in the park -- (don't worry, I'm not spoiling the book for you!) -- so we stabbed some grass as the centerpiece.....and of course, the gavel represented the court system.....
Then my friend Lauren started messing with the camera.....
And next thing you know, we are posing for book club pictures!

ReplyDeleteI would like to be in another book club. The last one was too much like having homework, always having to read things I was not interested in. I just read THE TWELVE TRIBES OF HATTIE by Ayana Mathis. This would be a wonderful book for a book club, I think. I have gotten way behind with keeping up that page of my blog, and I need to take some time to update it. Thanks for visiting.
